This is probably a female.

Both males & females have similar markings and
colours can vary a quite a lot.
It is normally the background colour of males and females that is different. Males are frequently a grey, whitish, or yellowish colour. The females are more frequently brownish but there can be considerable variation of shade.

The eyes are large and tending toward red and the pupil slit is vertical.
