A domestic goose with origins from the Swan goose in Siberia over 2000 years ago. There are 2 forms brown and white. These geese can be quite aggressive and vocal when threatened and for this reason are used as quite effective 'guard dogs'
They can lay between 40-100 eggs a year and are considered one of the best egg laying geese.
