Wingspan 4-5cm. Forewing olive brown, overlaid with pink and a dark V shaped pattern..The hind wings are yellowish brown with dark lines.
Flight period mainly May to Oct.
Active at night feeding on nector.
Caterpillar...stout greenish or brown with a pattern of lighter and darker lines with no hairs.
