8mmlong. The Lily beetle is a serious pest.It eats into the foiagge in the spring and early summer and severe defoliation occurs. Because of this, the bulbs can become undersized and may not flower the following year.
Inspect plants reguarly and pick off and destroy adults,eggs and grubs.
