The seven spot Ladybird is 6-7mm. It feeds on aphids, scale insects, mealybugs and whitefly.It is therefore the gardeners friend.
Adults hibernate in the Winter in sheltered places, such as sheds, out houses, and tree bark.
Females lay there orange/yellow coloured eggs in small batches, usually on the underside of leaves...
