Bald Eagles are mainly fish eaters and will soar high up looking for rivers laden with salmon or trout. The female is bigger than the male. Some can weigh as much as 14lbs and have a wingspan of 8feet.
Although bald eagles may range over great distances, they usually return to nest within 100 miles of where they were raised.
