Wingspan 8.6-12.4cm...The Monarch is also known as the Milkweed. It feeds on nector from many flowers and Eucalyptus. The caterpillar has white/cream/black and yellow stripes. It is a native of the Americas and the pacific region to Australia and S.E Asia. It also breeds in the Canary Isles.
