Cultural notes

Plant Crocosmia in clumps 100-150mm apart and 50-75mm deep in well- drained soil in early spring.

Best placed along the south side of a wall, or among groups of shrubs or herbaceous perennials. They require plenty of water in the summer.

Remove the flowering stems when the last flowers have died back. Seeds for propagation can be taken at the same time.

Clumps may he lifted and divided every three or four years either just after flowering or before the new growth starts in Spring.
