Common name: Pot Marigold
Hardy annual
Approx Height: 300mm
Planting Centres: 300mm
Sow outdoors in Spring or Autumn
Prefers sunny conditions, will tolerate poor, dry soil
Flowers from July until frosts and readily self-seeds. Compositae varieties available in a variety of pale yellow to deep orange colours.
Dead Head regularly. Petals can be used as a garnish in salads.
Liked by bees, butterflies and birds, who collect the seed in autumn.
