Native to North America, a member of the Ranunculaceae family. Grows 40 - 60 cm tall and 50 - 100cm wide, prefers clay soils in woodland settings.

WARNING : Whilst harmless to birds, all parts of the plant are poisonous, especially the berries, which can cause cardiac arrest and death.
