Maybe the best known of our native ferns, possibly a bit large for the small garden, although there are several smaller cultivars.
Semi-evergreen it benefits from being cut back hard in early spring to as the old fronds get very untidy.
Grows from 60-150cm. (2-5 feet)
Prefers Neutral to Acid soils and partial shade.
