Common name: Elephant's ears. Early spring flowering perennial with large spoon shaped, leathery green leaves and an upright pink flower spike. Frost hardy. Tolerates sun or shade but leaf colour is best on poor soil in full sun. Propagate by division in Spring, after flowering.
