Common name: Spurge, Milkweed. Evergreen, upright perennial. Biennial stems, producing grey green leaves one year and spikes of yellow-green flowers the next. H1.5M. Prefers sun or partial shade and moist, well drained soil. Propagate by division in Spring or Autumn, or by planting basal cuttings in a cold frame in Spring. NB: Milky sap from broken stalks may irritate the skin.
