Evergreen shrub. Hardy. Prefers a sheltered position in semi-shade. Ericaceous soil preferred. Does well in containers. Prune to shape after flowering. Feed with bonemeal Spring and autumn. Keep well watered in Summer when buds are forming. Propagate by semi-ripe or hardwood cuttings in mid-summer.
