Strong growing, winter flowering, evergreen clematis. Frost hardy. Fragrant. Needs a sheltered, preferably south/south west position. Plant deeply to avoid clematis wilt, water well in summer and feed with bonemeal in the autumn. Prune, if necessary, after flowering.
Propagate by layering.
