A species that spreads through rhizomes underground. A beautiful but somewhat invasive plant. It is best grown contained in a planter or in between paving. Large flat bright pink flowers with a startling white eye. Height 2ocms. The foliage is mottled green and yellow. Plant in full sun or part shade in well drained soil. propagate by seed or by splitting its rhizomes.
