The true form of this species is unfortunatley still quite rare, as it is often sold, and found, in fact to be Geranium Thunbergii. Thunbergii is a small deep pink flower that is quite weedy and has non of the beauty of the true form.
The flower of Yoshinoi is larger. It is approx 2cms across. Its habit is much bushier than Thunbergii, reaching a height of 25-30cms. Plant in part shade in a sheltered spot.
