Hardy, deciduous shrub up to 10ft. Erect growth, leaves appear late. Grow in full sun/part shade. Not fussy about soil but requires frequent watering during growing season. Prune late winter/early spring. Propagate softwood cuttings in soil-less compost or by layering or grafting.
