Species from SE Caucasus and Iran.
Quite a large, sprawling plant that can be difficult to place in the border. Heights can reach up to 5 feet or more as it scrambles through bushes. Flowers give the plant a two tone effect as they open pale pink and darken with age. Flowering from June onwards in full sun/part shade. Propagate by division or seed.
