Very very cold here but no snow - we can see it on the hills but so far it has left us alone. We are going to New Milton in Hampshire in May and wondered if any one can suggest any really good gardens to visit (this is on the day we get out of going to Peppa land) Hope to go to the Isle of Wight and the New Forest. Hope all Oggies are keeping warm - I am teaching myself to crochet and Alan is at the allotment digging the last leeks and parsnips for the freezer.

Hello Kathryn, we go to the New Forest several times a year and know New Milton quite well now emoticon emoticon. At the time of answering this I can think of three gardens that are lovely especially when the rhododendrons and azaleas are in bloom, one is Exbury Gardens on the edge of the New Forest, another is Crompton Acres in Poole, Dorset and the third is Hilliers Gardens at Romsey where there is also a garden centre. If you do an internet search on these gardens it should show you if these gardens will suit you both.

Exbury is lovely when the rhodos are out but it may be a bit early for them.
