Hi All
I have never experienced this before so wonder if you can help. I have runner beans that look great, plenty of flowers, but they are not setting fruit. I am watering well in the dry spell and the dwarf beans in the next bed are loaded with beans. I cant see any sign of disease. Any ideas what is going on?

thanks

Maybe they are not getting pollinated, have you tried spraying the flowers with water.

thanks impy, I did wonder that, just seems odd that the next bed along is well loaded. I have sprayed with water alos so maybe things will improve.

You may have fed them too well?

Mundia, I remembered after I posted that message that I read somewhere that runner beans do not like it too hot and don't do well in hot weather where as French beans like it hot and do well so maybe it is the good old weather that is affecting them.
