There is currently a plot of land on Blenheim Grove SE15, next to Peckham Rye train station, between the m.o.t garage and houses. This plot has been a habitat for hundreds of frogs for as long as I can remember. Unfortunately, the land is now up for sale and the new buyers are planning to build flats, which will result in the frogs being destroyed as the frogs pond and surrounding area will have to be diminished to make way for the new flats. I personally believe that turning the plot into a public conservation for the frogs, will not only be good for the frogs but for the people of the local community, environmentally and educationally.
