June is known for hot weather, fetes and weddings but this year it is still very cold and follows the coldest May on record. I still have my bedding plants under fleece and I can them not being in full fig until Augustemoticon Let's hope for an Indian Summer!

It's been flaming June here Madge. Dalton carnival on Saturday was the hottest in years. We've been sat out until late at night hoping for hedgehogs and watching bats. Son in Suffolk and sister in E.Yorks have not been very warm. I well remember that East Coast wind. Been picking strawberries this morning (polytunnel) but also eating outside cauliflowers and spring cabbage. Makes a change for us to be the warmest!

Well, I'm in Cornwall. The bluebells are just going over and the roses are just coming into bloom. It's all very strange!
