Names Pete, Precision Engineer [retired], enjoy being active ie sailing, walking, dancing,gardening. Hobbies include stone carving, boat building and generally making things that I ought really to buy.
Have a v large garden which was a serpentine quarry,so lots of mini cliff faces, rock pools [stream fed] and all sorts of wildlife. !00yds from sea on cliff path where I usually have my breakfast.

I am amazed that you have got my Chelsea Gold Winning garden on your site that I designed for the London Borough of Barnet, as it is the first site I have seen it on.
Building Alans polytunnel at the moment 9 a challenge)

Very interesting site. full of useful info. but have
found one little error. I the aticle on squirrels, the
final data says that the grey is protected but
really it is the native red that is the protected species.

i would like to thank everbody for there very kind messages regarding my dad RODEN , he was a great dad and an insiperation to me and i am trying to carry on his love of gardening , he gave me a greenhouse for christmas last year and im putting it to good use hopefully next year i will be useing up all the seeds he had left. would look forward to chatting to anybody who knew or chatted to him.
